Agreement to Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Kilo mobile application (“App”) or visiting our website automorphism.app (“Website”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our services.

The Short Version: Use our app responsibly, respect others, and we’ll provide you with great nutrition tracking tools. We’re not liable for health decisions you make based on the app.

About Our Service

What We Provide

Automorphism, Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides:

  • Kilo App: A nutrition tracking application for iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and visionOS
  • Nutritional Data: Access to USDA FoodData Central nutrition information
  • Personal Analytics: Tools to track and analyze your nutrition patterns
  • Cross-Device Syncing: Secure data synchronization across your Apple devices

What We Don’t Provide

  • Treatment for health conditions
  • Guarantees about health outcomes

Eligibility and Account Requirements

Age Requirements

  • Minimum age: 13 years old
  • Parental consent: Required for users under 18
  • Healthcare provider approval: Recommended for users with medical conditions

Account Security

  • You’re responsible for maintaining account security
  • Use strong passwords and enable available security features
  • Don’t share your account credentials

Acceptable Use

Cancellation

  • Cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings
  • Access to premium features continues until subscription expires
  • Your data remains accessible after cancellation

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

  • Kilo app, website, and related materials are owned by Automorphism, Inc.
  • Protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
  • You receive a limited license to use our services, not ownership

Your Rights

  • You retain ownership of personal data you input
  • You grant us permission to process your data to provide our services
  • You can revoke this permission by deleting your account

Third-Party Content

  • USDA nutrition data is in the public domain
  • Other third-party content is used under appropriate licenses

Service Availability and Changes

Service Availability

  • We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% uptime

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Automorphism, Inc. and our employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of others’ rights
  • Health decisions made based on app information

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
